It is Brown Transfer Company's policy to maintain a safe work environment for all its employees. The primary goal of our program is to prevent accidents, incidents, illnesses, and injuries and to fulfill our moral obligation to protect the general public.

Unsafe acts or working conditions create unnecessary hazards to the health and well-being of our people, our customers, and to the good name of the company. Brown Transfer Company, therefore commits itself and its resources to these ends:

  • Provide safe and healthy working conditions.
  • Maintain all company equipment and facilities in good and safe order.
  • Correct any and all conditions that could lead to an accident or injury.
  • Provide on-going safety training to all employees.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local laws or regulations related to safety

From day one at Brown Transfer Company, our number one priority has been to maintain a safe work environment for all our employees and to always be cognizant of our ethical obligation to protect the public and the products our customers and partners entrust to us each day.

We are always proactively evaluating our operations and potential risks with our primary goal of preventing accidents, incidents, illnesses and injuries by utilizing proven safety prevention methods.

With the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, we have maintained the highest rating available, which is a Satisfactory. This along with our very low CSA scores, which we have no alerts, we are able to fully utilize programs such as PrePass that help to streamline our delivery of freight.

By the end of 2015 we will have installed 115 Electronic On Board Recorders allowing Brown Transfer Company to become very efficient in the LTL sector. With this, we will know exactly where our customer’s loads are at any given time and we will be assured that our drivers are completely compliant.
